Show 'N Tell 2007!

Forum Organized by Hilary Powers
Notes by Micah Standley
March 21, 2007

The long-awaited Bay Area Editors' Forum "Show 'N Tell" was a tremendous success, giving our members an opportunity to share their most recent work. The well-attended event also provided an excellent networking opportunity for members and guests.

Presenters exhibited a wide variety of work, ranging from Web site pages and journals to a varied selection of books. Some of the titles shown included AC/DC: The Savage Tale of the First Standards War; Illustrating the Renaissance; Williams Sonoma: Entertaining; The Leader’s Guide to Storytelling; Counseling Victims of Violence; and Dressing a Galaxy: The Costumes of Star Wars (complete with a Wookie belt and actual fabric swatches from the costumes!).

Presenters and guests all enjoyed the chance to learn about the Bay Area's fascinating range of editorial work, performed by editorial freelancers and in-house editors alike.
